Youth Connections

With regret we announce that the  Youth Connections program closed on the 31st December 2014. For information on the achievements, barriers and delivery of the program, please download our Youth Connections Legacy paper.

Over the past five years, RDA Wheatbelt’s Youth Connections program has assisted Wheatbelt young people who have left school or who are thinking of leaving school, to continue their education.
The RDA Wheatbelt Youth Connections program was one of the most successfully delivered programs across Australia. One of the RDA Wheatbelt activities won a National award too, which is fantastic.
The staff at RDA Wheatbelt are very proud of the achievements of the young people who have been involved over the years.

Whilst Youth Connections will not be available in 2015 there are other organisations in the Wheatbelt that will be able to support you. Please go to our Youth Directory under the publications tab. This will help you to find the right people to support and help you.

Thank you very much for trusting us to help you throughout the years and please take advantage of the other support agencies out there!

The Youth Connections (YC) program was funded by the Commonwealth of Australia as represented by the Department of Education.

Youth Connections providers offered one-on-one case management service to help young people overcome barriers and engage with education. Youth Support Officers also traveled to the areas where young people met and engaged with them through targeted activities.
