CHITTERING - Spring Flower Festival

9am – 4pm.   Various locations, gold coin donation into the Town Hall, all other activities free
The Town Hall will host a  range of activities – nurserymen, flower arranging and displays, photographic exhibition and  more.
Call into Chittering Landcare who will have named local wildflower specimens on display
Visit the Brockman Centre precinct on Great Northern Highway for a trip down memory lane to the Bindoon Museum, be delighted with the quilts exhibition at the Art and Craft Centre then drive onto the historic and beautifully renovated Holy Trinity Church where local guides will be available.
Community markets will be on the town oval on Saturday and on Sunday they combine with the fairground atmosphere of the Historic Vehicle Day.  Adjacent to the oval in the Chinkabee complex where you will find the art of the Chittering Art Society.
The delightful and historic Enderslea Farm on Blue Plains Road will be hosting four performance of Uncovering May Gibbs in the renovated stone barn on the historic farm. The oral history production is performed by Agelink Theatre, and a farm fare afternoon tea is included.
This year the community has at last celebrated the rejuvenation of our main street, Binda Place where we have new gardens, new street furniture and a footpath – a truly welcome improvement! The food and  business sector of Chittering share in the promotion of Chittering during our Flower Festival and remain open to welcome visitors over the weekend.
