Regional Growth Fund
Stage 1 applications for funding support of $10m and above have now closed.
The Australian Governments $272.2 million Regional Growth Fund closed on 27 April 2018. Future rounds will be advised if and when opened.
The minimum funding available under RGF is $10 million with a requirement for matching funding. The fund is open to state and territory governments, local governments, not-for-profit and for profit organisations for projects that are located in, or significantly benefit regional Australia.
The minimum funding available under the program is $10 million, however projects may include a number of strategically linked projects, which together form a package of works that will deliver economic benefits to a region or regions. This will allow the combining of projects that cross over LGA and /or Regional Development Australia (RDA) boundaries.
The program has been designed for applicants to submit project and applicant information in a two stage process. Stage One is an Initial Application, which is competitive and will confirm applicant and project eligibility, and provide evidence of how the project addresses the merit criteria. Stage Two is the submission of a Full Business Case.
Only successful applicants at the end of Stage One will be invited to submit a Full Business Case.
